Apple asked a number of users to reset their account passwords
A number of Apple users have received messages that they need to change their password. Appleinsider drew attention to this.
Media journalists noticed relevant messages in social networks. According to owners of Apple gadgets, their profiles were disconnected from their devices. They also received a letter in the mail stating that they need to enter their login and password for their account.
According to the authors of the publication, the only way to solve the problem is to reset the password. Also, as a rule, in such cases, users are “thrown out” from their account on all devices – iPhone, Mac, iPad and others.
As of mid-afternoon on April 27, Apple had not reported any errors on the System Health Monitor page. Appleinsider journalists also noted that what happened does not look like an organized hack or attack by hackers. The number of users affected by the problem is not reported.
In early April, Apple warned users in 92 countries about a spyware attack. According to experts, unknown persons may be trying to remotely compromise an iPhone associated with an Apple ID.
