Bloomberg: Consumers Stop Buying Apple Vision Pro Glasses

American consumers have stopped buying augmented reality glasses from Apple. Bloomberg reports this.

According to the observations of the agency’s journalists, US residents have lost interest in Vision Pro. There are no longer queues for devices in stores, and a large number of devices are on sale. Currently, Vision Pro glasses can only be purchased in the United States; the device is expected to appear in other markets in the summer.

According to Bloomberg, many users who signed up to try on and test the device at the Apple Store canceled their appointments or ignored their visit to the store. At the same time, Apple continues to promote its product through advertising in retail outlets and media.

Users of Apple’s first augmented reality glasses complain that the headset is impractical in real life. This is due to the limited number of applications for the device, low autonomy, and the high cost of the gadget. According to agency specialists, the headset may turn out to be a niche product until Apple releases a more affordable device.

In mid-February, The Verge noticed that the first users of Apple Vision Pro glasses began to get rid of the device. Judging by social networks, the owners of the glasses wanted to return them to the store.
