Mysterious alarm signal. What was its source? The Internal Security Agency steps into action

The matter of the alarm signal and the plane that allegedly crashed in Silesia is becoming more and more mysterious. After notifying the Polish Air Navigation Agency, the matter will be dealt with by the Internal Security Agency.

The Internal Security Agency will take a closer look at the aircraft that allegedly crashed in Silesia. On Wednesday, a resident near Wodzisław Śląski reported to the services that he saw a falling plane. Institutions responsible for airspace safety received an alarm signal at the same time. 15 fire brigades, a PANSA helicopter, drones and quads were sent to the site of the alleged disaster. However, the services did not find the machine.

PANSA: The source of the signal could not be identified

– We also failed to identify the source of this signal – says Marcin Hadaj, spokesman for the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency.

We checked two planes that may have been operating in the airspace in this area. One actually flew but landed safely. The second one generally did not rise into the air. At the same time, we received a signal of unknown origin on the emergency frequency. This signal is no longer broadcast

– added.

Mysterious alarm signal. Two scenarios are likely

According to the PANSA spokesman, there are two probable explanations for this situation. – We can suspect that it was either a signal accidentally activated or activated on purpose – therefore today the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency provided all the necessary information on this matter to the authorities responsible for state security – said Marcin Hadaj. He assured that if the alarm signal starts to be emitted again, PANSA will try to identify the source.
