The first such website in Poland. RCB teaches about danger “to minimize risk”

The Government Center for Security will launch a special website devoted to CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear and explosion) threats. “It is worth knowing how to behave in a given situation and what to do to minimize the risk of these threats,” says RCB.

As RCB argues, the educational portal is to be a response to growing global threats. It will be addressed to both adult citizens and primary school students. The portal is scheduled to launch on Friday, March 29.

RCB launches an educational portal. It is intended to help in the event of potential attacks

According to information provided by RCB, the portal is intended to make all citizens aware of what to do if they encounter potential CBRNE threats. “They may pose a real danger. Therefore, it is worth knowing how to behave in a given situation and what to do to minimize the risk of these threats,” RCB informs.

It was announced that the website will contain, among others: special educational games, guides, infographics, animations, and ready-made lesson plans for teachers. “Education is crucial in avoiding and minimizing the effects of CBRNE threats, as well as building the country’s resilience – a society that is resistant to threats is a resilient country,” we read in the RCB press release.

The CBRNE Crisis Communication Book will also be available on the website. It is intended to support primarily press spokespeople. There will also be a “Be ready” tab, where you will be able to find information “how to prepare your loved ones for threats (including the need to evacuate) and what should be included in an evacuation backpack.”

The RCB website was created in cooperation with numerous institutions

According to RCB, the website was created thanks to Norwegian funds. The National Atomic Energy Agency, the Internal Security Agency, the Police Headquarters, the State Fire Service, the Chief Veterinary Inspectorate, and the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate assisted in creating the content.
