Two new documents have appeared in the mObywatel 2.0 application – informs the Ministry of Digitization. More than 360,000 citizens will be able to benefit from them.

New documents have appeared in the mObywatel 2.0 application, thanks to which over 360,000 people in Poland, entered into the register by the district councils of nurses and midwives, will confirm their professional qualifications. From now on, the electronic application documents also include the license to practice as a nurse and the license to practice as a midwife.

The profession of a nurse and midwife in the mObywatel 2.0 application

The right to practice as a nurse or midwife in the mObywatel 2.0 application is the electronic equivalent of the traditional version of the document. Thanks to it, people entered into the register by the District Council of Nurses and Midwives can confirm their professional qualifications by phone.

The Ministry of Digital Affairs emphasizes that in mObywatel 2.0, digital ID cards can be used by, among others, pupils and students, as well as pensioners and holders of the Large Family Card. The Ministry adds that in the future, ID cards for people with disabilities and honorary blood donors will also be added. MPs and lawyers, among others, can confirm their professional qualifications by phone.

You can use the electronic right to practice the profession of a nurse or midwife after logging in to the mObywatel 2.0 application and confirming your identity using a trusted profile, electronic banking or e-ID, and then adding the first document, mDowód or Diia.pl.

The right to practice as a nurse or midwife is granted if:

  • you have a diploma of completion of a Polish nursing or midwifery school, or a diploma of completion of nursing or midwifery studies, nostrified in Poland, obtained in a country other than an EU Member State;
  • you have full legal capacity;
  • your health condition allows you to practice as a nurse or midwife;
  • you demonstrate an impeccable ethical attitude
