Wccftech: PlayStation 5 Pro will be three times more powerful than the base Sony console
The new PlayStation gaming console will receive increased performance and support for artificial intelligence (AI). This was reported by Wccftech.
Media journalists referred to an internal Sony document that was distributed in thematic blogs. It says that the PlayStation 5 Pro will have an upgraded GPU that will deliver 45 percent faster video rendering. Additionally, it will support improved ray tracing technology.
Compared to the base console, the PlayStation 5 will be three times more powerful. Insiders also predicted that the device will receive an improved architecture.
In addition, the PS5 Pro console will support Super Resolution technology. Based on AI algorithms, it will enhance images and upscale video game resolutions to 4K. In the future, the console will receive an update, after which the console will be able to increase the resolution to 8K.
In mid-February, the authors of the YouTube channel Moore’s Law Is Dead said that the PlayStation 5 Pro would be priced at $500. The console should be released before the end of 2024.
