Hi-Tech Mail.ru: iPhone 12 fell in price by 30 percent – up to 50 thousand rubles
The cost of iPhone 12 on the Russian market has decreased by a third. This was reported by Hi-Tech Mail.ru.
Media journalists noticed that the price of the “time-tested iPhone” has decreased by 30 percent. If at the start of sales the device cost 80 thousand rubles, then at the beginning of 2024 it dropped in price to 50-55 thousand rubles.
“The iPhone 12 smartphone, released in 2020, still remains a relevant gadget. It differs from more modern analogues in its reduced cost,” the authors of the publication described the device.
The device turned out to be the first affordable Apple smartphone to receive an OLED screen and 5G support. The device came with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, an Apple A14 Bionic processor, 4 gigabytes of RAM, a dual camera with 12 megapixel lenses each. The iPhone 12 is also equipped with a battery with a capacity of 2815 milliamp-hours.
At the beginning of March, it became known that the price of the iPhone 14 had fallen in Russia. If at the start of sales the device was priced at 85 thousand rubles, then in early spring 2024 it was available for 64 thousand rubles.
