Apple has added information about battery recharge cycles to the iPhone 15 settings

Apple has added advanced battery settings to the iPhone 15. This was reported by MacRumors.

The beta version of iOS 17.4, which was studied by media journalists, has new battery settings. In addition to information about the battery condition, users can view the number of recharge cycles. This data will help you know if the battery needs to be replaced.

The company also said that it has changed the system for calculating the remaining capacity of iPhone batteries. Thus, new Apple smartphones are designed to retain 80 percent capacity after 1000 recharge cycles, while older versions – after 500 cycles.

According to media journalists, new information about recharge cycles is available only to users of current devices – iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The authors recalled that owners of new gadgets can limit their phones so that they stop charging when the battery level reaches 80 percent.

Previously, Apple refuted the popular myth that a drowned smartphone should be placed in dry rice. The company said that if the iPhone comes into contact with moisture, it must be left in a dry place with good ventilation.
