Bloomberg: Vision Pro’s shortcomings will be corrected in the second generation in 2025
Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman identified the shortcomings of the Apple Vision Pro and said that they will be corrected in the new generation of the device. This is reported in Gurman’s newsletter, its text is available on the agency’s website.
The specialist listed the main disadvantages of an augmented reality headset. According to the author, the Vision Pro operating system is not optimized enough, and the interface also needs improvement: “Using the gadget in everyday life can be difficult.” In addition, the observer emphasized that 3.5 thousand dollars is a very high price.
Gurman said that Apple will take into account all the shortcomings of the device when developing the second generation. However, the creation process will take at least 18 months – thus, the continuation of the Vision Pro headset will not appear until the second half of 2025.
“Vision Pro supporters emphasize that the current model is only the first generation. It will get better over time,” Mark Gurman quoted Apple fans as saying. The specialist noted that the first Apple products are often imperfect and, for example, the original iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch also had their own characteristics.
In mid-February, it was reported that the first users of Apple Vision Pro glasses began to get rid of the device. Owners of the device complained of headaches and motion sickness when using the gadget, as well as an inconvenient interface.
