The most purchased smartphones are listed

Canalys analysts named the most purchased smartphones in 2023. This was reported by PhoneArena.

The list includes devices that manufacturers most often shipped to the world market. The leader of the rating was the iPhone 14 Pro Max, Apple’s premium flagship, released in the fall of 2022. According to Canalys, a total of 34 million units of the device were shipped.

The second most popular smartphone was the iPhone 15 Pro Max with 33 million units, the third was the iPhone 14, which was shipped with 29 million units. Only Apple gadgets were listed in the top 5—iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 13 were also included.

The top ten also included the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G, iPhone 15 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, Samsung Galaxy A14 5G and iPhone 15.

“Apparently, this is the first case reflecting the market shift to the premium segment,” PhoneArena journalists commented on the news. The authors of the note recalled that in 2022 the best-selling phone was the affordable iPhone 13, and from January to September 2023 – the iPhone 14.

In early February, PerfectRec specialists recorded a decrease in the level of satisfaction among users of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The ratings of basic 15 and 15 Plus, on the contrary, increased.
