Samsung admits Galaxy S24 Ultra is flawed

Samsung will fix a bug where the screen of the Galaxy S24 Ultra became dim

Samsung has acknowledged a flaw related to the Galaxy S24 Ultra display. Forbes reports this.

The problem was noticed by the first users of the most expensive flagship phone of the Korean brand. According to device owners, the device’s screen suddenly became very dim. The corresponding topic on Reddit collected almost 800 user comments within a week.

According to journalists, at first experts believed that the problem was related to the protective glass. However, it later turned out that it was caused by an unknown bug that affected the display of colors. Samsung has already responded to the complaints and promised to fix the system error.

“Rest assured that the next software update will resolve the issue on your Samsung S24,” the company said. At the same time, experts found that the error only appears in normal use mode—when viewing photos or videos, the screen is at normal brightness.

At the end of January, it became known that Samsung managed to sell out the Galaxy S24 series smartphones in record numbers. During the week, the company sold 1.21 million units of devices.
