PerfectRec: iPhone 15 Pro rating among smartphone users has decreased

The authors of the PerfectRec service recorded a decrease in the level of satisfaction of iPhone 15 users. This is reported in a report on the company’s website.

Experts have been recording reviews from owners of new Apple smartphones since the devices went on sale in September. According to them, users usually give higher ratings to the brand’s advanced flagships, while basic models have lower ratings. This year the situation has changed.

The material says that consumers were disappointed with the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max smartphones. Thus, the number of users who gave the maximum rating to 15 Pro was 73.5 percent in September. In January, this figure dropped to 66.1 percent. In the case of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the rating dropped from 77 to 72.5 percent.

The ratings of basic 15 and 15 Plus, on the contrary, have increased. The share of positive ratings for the iPhone 15 increased from 68.2 to 78.1 percent, and for the iPhone 15 Plus from 70 to 73.5 percent.

According to PerfectRec experts, most often the owners of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max complained about reduced battery life, the camera unit protruding from the body, and minor changes compared to the iPhone 14.

Previously, Barclays analysts said that Apple would sell fewer smartphones in 2024 than in the previous year. Supplies will decline due to the iPhone 16 not being attractive enough to consumers.
