The Ministry of Digitization recently announced that it will continue to add new functions to the mObywatel application. Now there is an option that will allow us to have a real impact on the development of the program.
The Ministry of Digitization is asking for new ideas for mObywatel. A new option has been added
The Ministry published on Thursday about the great opinions that the mObywatel application receives. In the Google Play store with Android applications it is 4.8 (based on 85 thousand ratings), and in the App Store it is 4.6 (based on 66 thousand ratings). It was added that the app has been downloaded by Poles over 16 million times. The ministry also thanked the users for their opinions in both application stores.
Krzysztof Gawkowski, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization, quoted in the announcement, declared that MC specialists monitor and analyze all user comments, comments and suggestions on an ongoing basis. – Thank you for every comment, including constructive criticism, all votes are analyzed. It’s great that users are actually building this application with us, Gawkowski said.
He also admitted that the ministry had launched a new function in mObywatel – “Report an Idea”. Thanks to it, we can send a request directly through the government application to the MC with an idea for further development of the program or a new function that will be useful to citizens. – We collect emerging ideas, and inside the application we have launched the “Report an Idea” function so that users can actually influence the development of the application – added the Deputy Prime Minister.
The ministry also informed that the option of blocking the PESEL number by mObywatel, recently added at the beginning of January, is very popular. Of all PESEL objections, approximately 1/3 of the notifications were made by apps. Since November, the number has been blocked 1,549,500 times, of which 415,000. reports were made via mObywatela.
New functions in mObywatel. No more long queues to the office
As he stated during a conversation in the PAP studio, the ministry wants to give us the opportunity to register a car using a smartphone, which will allow car buyers to skip visits to the office and often long queues at the window. – We want to create a situation in which a citizen registers a car by phone instead of at a transport office – explained Gawkowski.
In mid-January, the deputy head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Michał Gramatyka, revealed that soon mObywatel will also receive a function useful to drivers. The “Crash” option will allow you to fill out an incident report for minor collisions from your smartphone. These are situations when both parties agree on the guilt and the police’s arrival at the scene is not necessary. Until now, such a report had to be completed in paper form.
