Titanium Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra passed durability tests

The author of the PBKreviews blog assessed the strength of the new Samsung flagship. The video is available on the blogger’s YouTube channel.

A specialist tested whether a phone can be destroyed if dropped from a certain height onto a hard surface. As part of the experiment, the author threw the device onto a concrete surface three times, screen down. After a series of falls from a height of about one meter, the Galaxy S24 Ultra received minor scratches on the frame and front panel.

The author of the channel also dropped the Samsung device frame down several times. The blogger noted that the titanium case did not receive serious damage – accordingly, the flagship of the Korean brand passed strength tests.

In addition, the enthusiast tried to harm the smartphone using a grinder. When the device came into contact with metal, sparks appeared, and noticeable stains remained on the titanium frame. However, the structural integrity of the gadget has been preserved. Finally, the blogger treated the display with small particles of dust and gravel, but did not notice any damage.

The flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra was introduced on January 17. Samsung’s top-end device has a titanium frame, a 6.8-inch screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12 gigabytes of RAM, and a camera with 200, 50, 12 and 10 megapixel lenses.
