Elon Musk in Poland. Strange statements, shocking presentation

In addition to his private visit, the billionaire took part in the conference of the European Jewish Association. The main point of the event was his discussion with right-wing columnist Ben Shapiro about anti-Semitism on the Internet. – If freedom of speech and social media had existed in the times of Auschwitz, the Holocaust would have been impossible – said Elon Musk.

There was also a special presentation earlier. For its purposes, entries were created that could have appeared on X if the platform had operated during World War II. Their “authors” were, among others: SS-man Franz Konrad and the leader of the ghetto uprising, Mordechaj Anielewicz. The latter would, for example, make an entry that read: “It’s time for revenge, join the Jewish Combat Organization.” In turn, the Nazi invented by the author(s) of the presentation posted a post about the Warsaw ghetto, to which another anonymous user responded with the famous photo of a ten-year-old with raised arms and pointing a gun at him. The presentation also includes entries of the Auschwitz-Birkenau camp itself, created for its purposes, with the so-called contextual information that Jews are suffering from hunger in the camp. A large part of X users criticized the presentation, considering it another way of promoting the platform.

In response to a question from journalist MaƂgorzata Fraser, the Auschwitz Museum denied that such a presentation was shown during the visit to the Memorial. “This is a recording from a meeting organized in Krakow, not during a visit to the Auschwitz Memorial Site” – . Gazeta.pl sent an inquiry to the European Jewish Association regarding the presentation.
