For the last several days, there have been no posts on the TVP Info channel on X. The last entry before the break was posted on January 11 and was one of a series of posts intended to promote the “Protest of Free Poles” organized by PiS. Some of the earlier ones were of a propaganda nature. The channel unexpectedly came back to life on January 22, late in the evening.

– TVP Info wrote on the X portal on Monday just before 23. However, it did not provide any details that clearly confirm the recovery of the station’s channel on Elon Musk’s platform.

There were a lot of comments under the post. “The last bastion has fallen” – commented one of the X users. Many people appeal to TVP Info in the comments to remove the so-called bans that the station’s previous authorities often imposed on users with different views. Some also ask for the profile to be cleaned of propaganda content that has appeared on the account so far.

The TVP Info channel on the YouTube platform and the website had already been revived. The TVP Info profile on the X portal was the last PiS profile in social media, over which the station’s new management had no control. Since December, Telewizja Polska has not been able to take over access to the profile from previous administrators, including: Samuel Pereira, former deputy director of the Television Information Agency.

Adamczyk, Pereira and Tulicki dismissed from TVP. “Actions to the detriment of the company”

Perhaps the recovery of the TVP Info channel on X is related to the removal of, among others, Samuel Pereira from TVP. Last Thursday, he announced the disciplinary dismissal of Michał Adamczyk, Samuel Pereira and Marcin Tulicki from Telewizja Polska. The broadcaster will confirm this information in an interview with the website, but did not provide detailed reasons for the decision. However, it was admitted that they generally concerned “a number of irregularities and actions to the detriment of the company, which [Adamczyk, Pereira i Tulicki] committed after December 20, 2023.
