The Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC headphones are wireless Bluetooth over-ear headphones with active noise cancellation. They are designed to work anywhere and deliver an extraordinary experience.

For those who haven’t heard of it, Poly is known for developing high-quality communications solutions. In 2022, this company was bought by HP.

The Poly Voyager Surround 80 UC headphones are among the brand’s most premium devices.

As for the design, it has become modern and stylized, far from business seriousness. The construction is made of high-quality black plastic and artificial leather.

They are designed for long working days. It has touch controls on the right earcup and a USB-C port.

Thanks to the USB-C port we can also use a 3.5mm jack connector for those who, instead of Bluetooth connectivity, prefer to connect with a cable. However, unlike other headphones, these still need to be charged in order to work.

The packaging also includes a dongle (a kind of small USB) that will serve to enable the full potential of these headphones through the Poly Lens app (Windows/Mac) that will allow you to manage various parameters from language to programming functions, such as our ‘inform’ colleagues that we are in conversation by activating a light signal, using a small equalizer or by determining how the headphones will behave when answering a call, waiting a second and forwarding the call to a connected mobile terminal, etc.

The set is completed by an elegant but somewhat bulky plush case in which it is noticeable that headphones advertised as “Voyager” and therefore designed to be as portable as possible, do not fold.

At work, it delivers exceptional call performance thanks to its ten microphones. The active noise cancellation ANC mode and adjustable transparency mode.

Its autonomy is up to 21 hours of talk time and 24 hours of music playback.

The Poly headphones have good dynamic range, but response is somewhat flat with little bass. However, they provide a satisfying experience for calls and music, especially for busy users.

While suitable for music lovers, the Poly Voyager offers a more than remarkable experience for professionals who regularly call and meet.
