South Florida homes are cheaper than ever in these five areas: Prices at or below $400,000

Florida is an attractive state to live in, so many hope to achieve that goal by enjoying the home of their dreams but not choking their wallets.

According to data compiled for the Miami Herald, it has been determined which areas in South Florida, United States, have the most affordable housing.

That outlet points out that to identify the five zip codes with the lowest average sales prices in 2023, Analytics Miami founder Ana Bozovic collected and analyzed sales data from the Multiple Listing Service.

To reach these codes, each of them had to “reach at least 100 offers in the past year to show sufficient demand and qualify for the rankings,” El Nuevo Herald explains.

The data showed that “Lauderhill and Lauderdale Lakes, in Broward County, and Gladeview, Opa-locka, Allapattah, Brownsville and Homestead, in Miami-Dade County, have median sales prices equal to or less than $400,000.”

1. Lauderhill/Lauderdale Lakes
