MacRumors: Apple will start selling Vision Pro glasses worldwide before summer
Apple has planned global sales of Vision Pro augmented reality glasses until the summer of 2024. This was reported by MacRumors.
Journalists cited authoritative analyst Ming-Chi Ko, who said that the new headset will go on sale worldwide in the first half of the year. This is due to the fact that at the summer developer conference WWDC, Apple was going to tell what applications they are releasing for augmented reality glasses.
From Ko’s disclosed data it follows that it is important for the company to meet the designated deadlines in order to talk about Vision Pro as a global product. The device will probably be available for purchase in Europe and other regions of the world in the spring.
Apple is currently collecting pre-orders for Vision Pro, sales in the US will start in early February. Ko explained that the corporation is concerned about supply problems and therefore will only sell the new device in the United States for now. The announcement of Vision Pro took place at WWDC in June 2023.
Earlier, authoritative specialist Mark Gurman said that Apple chose a laptop chip as the main processor for the Vision Pro headset. The M2 chip has 8 processor cores and 10 graphics accelerator cores and is used in MacBook Air laptops.
