A man was about to be crushed to death, left under the rubble of the facade of the office where he works, and a security camera captured the powerful moment. Many describe what happened as a miracle.
José Alirio Dugarte, a gas station worker in Valledupar, Colombia, learned to appreciate life even more and thanks God for the second chance he gave him, Noticias Caracol reported.
The man tried to close the office door, but it was difficult. “He made several attempts.” When he was able to close it, he looked up to be sure; and turned to get into his red vehicle, which was parked in front of him.
Not even five seconds passed when the facade of the office collapsed. He had barely taken five steps to get to the car. Less than 15 seconds passed since he tried to close and get into his car.
Speechless. José Alirio miraculously saved his life. Some debris fell on his car and two others.

“Glory to God,” says Dugarte
José Alirio Dugarte remains shocked. But he does not hesitate to give thanks: “Glory to God.”
For this man, everything happened ‘out of love for God’.
“Five more seconds and I would have been down (…) I couldn’t believe what God had done to take care of me,” he told Noticias Caracol.

According to El Tiempo, Dugarte is from Venezuela. He is 42 years old. Journalist Martín Elías Mendoza pointed out on his social networks that this man migrated to Colombia in 2019 and is a member of a Christian community.
-What happened to the door?
-The door is like a magnet, it didn’t let me in… I went back and pulled it, then it closed and I left, Dugarte explained.
Authorities are trying to determine what caused the collapse, Colombian media said.
Joseph only hopes that his story will convince more people that miracles exist.
