Horror receipts won’t break your pocket. Here, skiing is the cheapest in Poland

Winter holidays are a great opportunity to ski on the ski slopes. Will we pay more in 2024 than in the previous year? Where is the cheapest? Experts checked it thanks to a special application and receipts.

Which ski slope in Poland tempts you with the best price? What did the price list for this type of services look like, e.g. in 2021? Such information can be found in the latest study prepared by experts from the popular shopping application – PanParagon.

– This is an application for finding promotions and adding receipts. On this basis, we are able to check how the prices of individual products or services have changed over the years. Due to the beginning of the winter holidays, we took a look at the price list of ski lift tickets in the high season in 2021, 2022, 2023 and January this year. For a more detailed analysis, we additionally verified the prices for 2024 with the information available on the official websites of individual ski slopes – comments Antonina Grzelak from the PanParagon application.

Ski slopes – where is the cheapest?

In their study, experts included the seven most popular ski resorts in Poland. Where will we pay the most and the least? The most expensive ski slope in the high season in 2024 is Korbielów (Pilsko – Jontek). The price for a two-day ski pass there is PLN 310. In Zakopane, both on the Harenda and Polana Szymoszkowa slopes, a two-day ski pass costs PLN 305. The least amount for a ski lift ride is in Ustrzyki Dolne. Here, at the Gromadzyń ski station, the price for a ski pass for 2 days is PLN 220. – As you can see, the price range between stations is large and amounts to as much as PLN 90 for two-day trips. However, it should be borne in mind that individual slopes differ in length or difficulty of the route, available infrastructure and views. This, in turn, affects the final price of the pass – notes Antonina Grzelak.

Prices have changed little compared to 2023.

According to receipt data, this season the average price at all ski stations included in the study increased by only 3.3%. relative to 2023. The biggest increase awaits skiers going to Szklarska Porêba to the Ski Arena Szrenica. The price of a two-day ski pass has increased by PLN 38 compared to 2023. A significant increase in costs is also visible in the case of the Zakopane Harenda slope (+ PLN 30). We will also ski in Korbielów on the Pilsko – Jontek slope, which is PLN 5 more expensive than last year. But there is also positive news. There is a place on the ski map where it is cheaper than a year ago. We will pay PLN 10 less for skiing at Polana Szymoszkowa in Zakopane, and the same amount as last year at Zieleniec Ski Arena, Czarna Góra Resort and Ustrzyki – Gromadzyń.
