How to set up a Trusted Profile?
A trusted profile is a means of electronic identification thanks to which citizens can confirm their identity on the Internet and sign a document with an electronic signature. A Trusted Profile can be created and confirmed online, using an external identity provider, e.g. a bank. The trusted profile enables electronic signing of documents. Thanks to this, you can submit, for example, an application, application, appeal or complaint without having to print the document, sign it manually and scan it. An electronic signature has the same weight as a handwritten signature.
To set up a Trusted Profile, you must complete the form for setting up a Trusted Profile in the bank’s electronic banking system. Then confirm the operation with the bank authorization code. As a result, the user will receive confirmation of creating an account by e-mail.
You can also confirm your identity at confirmation points, e.g. offices and some banks. An application for setting up a Trusted Profile can be sent automatically via the Internet when registering an account. However, you must confirm your data in person at a selected confirmation point (also abroad). The employee of the confirmation point will ask you to show your ID document, then print out your application and ask you to sign it.
