Hi-Tech Mail.ru: the cost of iPhone 12 has decreased in Russia to 60 thousand rubles

The iPhone 12, introduced in 2020, fell in price by a quarter in Russia. This was reported by Hi-Tech Mail.ru.

“Russian online stores have significantly reduced the cost of the iPhone,” the media authors noted. If in the fall of 2020 the device was available for at least 80 thousand rubles, then three years later its cost dropped to 60 thousand rubles – thus, the popular gadget fell in price by 25 percent.

The phone has a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, an Apple A14 Bionic processor, four gigabytes of RAM and 64 gigabytes of internal memory. The smartphone has a dual camera with lenses with a resolution of 12 megapixels each, a battery with a capacity of 2815 milliamp-hours, NFC, Face ID, and stereo speakers.

The iPhone 15 smartphone, considered the successor to the iPhone 12, also fell in price on the Russian market at the end of 2023. If earlier it cost 125-170 thousand rubles, then in December the device was available for 82 thousand rubles.

Previously, the authors of the Hi-Tech Mail.ru portal named the optimal iPhone for purchase in 2023. It turned out to be the iPhone 14: “this is exactly the gadget that will appeal to both connoisseurs of compact dimensions and girls for whom technical characteristics are of the utmost importance.”
