Google Pixel 7a became the smartphone with the best camera in blogger Brownlee’s tests
Popular blogger Marques Brownlee named Google Pixel 7a the smartphone with the best camera on the market in 2023. The author stated this in a video on his YouTube channel.
In the tests, the blogger used 20 smartphones, divided into four groups. The author then created a voting page where users had to choose what they thought were the best photos, without knowing the devices they were taken on. Each device was assigned points. According to the test results, the Google Pixel 7a was chosen as the gadget with the best camera, which scored 1660 points.
The top 3 of the list included other Google brand devices – the flagship Pixel 8 Pro and the foldable device Pixel Fold. The top ten also included OnePlus Open, Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Z Flip 5, iPhone 15 Pro, Vivo X90 Pro, Samsung Z Fold 5 and Moto RAZR Plus.
Below are OnePlus 11, Asus ROG Phone 7, Asus Zenfone 10, Oppo Find X6 Pro, iPhone 15, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Fairphone 5, Nothing Phone 2, Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Sony Xperia 1V.
In some tests – in normal daylight – the Google Pixel 7a won. When shooting in low lighting conditions, the iPhone 15 Pro was named the best, in portrait mode – the Google Pixel 8 Pro.
At the end of 2022, blogger Marques Brownlee called the Google Pixel 6a the smartphone with the best camera on the market. The top 3 also included Google Pixel 7 Pro and Asus Zenfone 9.
