There are 46 countries that Ecuadorians can travel to and enjoy without having to apply for a visa to enter.

Of those 46, five countries are in Europe. Russia and Belarus are perhaps best known to most. But Georgia, Moldova and Montenegro are also on the list.

Countries where Ecuadorians can travel without a visa

What sights do these five European countries offer?

1. Belarus

Museums, history, culture, castles and monuments, lakes, forests and good coffee await in that country.

2. Russia

Although Russia’s tourism industry is embroiled in the war against Ukraine, by February 2022 it has more than 40 destinations, including classics such as Moscow and St. Petersburg, and remote locations such as Altai and Kamchatka, Advantour notes.

They explain that it is a country with offers for family, ethnic, adventure and cultural tourism.

3. Georgia

Advantour notes that Georgia is “located at the crossroads of Europe and Asia” and describes it as “a dream combination of beautiful mountain landscapes with dazzling and unusual architecture.”

They emphasize that “Georgia’s diverse climate conditions and wide variety of activities make the country an attractive holiday destination all year round.”

Know? Of course Tbilisi, the capital; Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Kakheti, a land of grapes; Imereti, Shida-Kartli and for good food you can go to Ayaria, where ‘beautiful beaches’ also await you.

An important interesting fact: Georgia is “open to immigration and also has many tax benefits for companies and residents,” according to Librestado.

Chisinau, the capital, has museums, monuments, churches and much more, says Expedia. The site also suggests that you know Butuceni, Tiraspol, Bender, Orhei and Trebujeni.

Moldova, in southeastern Europe, is, in the words of the UN, “a small country with a big heart.”

They recalled in May 2022 that “Moldova has not stopped receiving refugees since the outbreak of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine on February 24 (of that year) (…)”.
