Microsoft will add an AI connection button to the keyboard for Windows PCs
Microsoft Corporation will change the keyboard of personal computers (PCs) with the Windows operating system by adding an artificial intelligence (AI) connection button to the keyboard. This was reported on the company’s blog.
“Today we’re excited to take the next significant step forward and introduce the Copilot key to Windows 11 PCs. (…) The introduction of the Copilot key marks the first significant change to the Windows PC keyboard in nearly three decades,” the statement said.
As Microsoft said, the innovation will simplify the work of users on the computer and expand it. “Copilot will be the entry point into the world of artificial intelligence on the PC,” the company added.
The fact that Microsoft planned to release computers designed specifically for working with AI became known on December 29. It was specified that the company will release two models – Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6. They will be equipped with a choice of ARM or Intel processors, and will also have a new generation neural processor (NPU).
