A subject convicted in the United States of aggravated assault causing significant bodily harm attacked the judge in charge of the trial on Wednesday after she denied him bail.

The judge Mary Kay Holthus in Clark County District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada, was halfway through sentencing when the attacker, identified as 30-year-old Delone Redden, lunged at her this morning.
