The Defense Forces Israel (FDI) will reward with $400,000 to anyone who can provide accurate information on the whereabouts of Yahya Sinwar, the group’s leader Hamasagainst whom they have been at war for more than two months.

Sinwar is considered the mastermind of the attack on Saturday, October 7 in Israelwhen Islamic militants fired rockets and murdered and kidnapped Israeli civilians.

The reward information is detailed in leaflets dropped by the IDF on the Gaza Strip. Smaller financial amounts are also offered for information about other Hamas members.

They are offering $300,000 for Mohamed Sinwar, who commands the southern brigade of the al Qasam Brigades, the group’s military wing.

The offer is for the commander of the Khan Yunis battalion, Rafaa Salameh, at 200,000 dollars. The heaviest fighting between Hamas militiamen and Israeli troops is now taking place in that southern city.

Finally, Mohammed Deif, head of Hamas’s military wing, appears with a $100,000 reward.

According to the Israeli pamphlets, the confidentiality of informants will be guaranteed. Israel suspects Yahya Sinwar is hiding in the town of Khan Younis, where they believe he escaped shortly after October 7 by infiltrating humanitarian convoys. (JO)
