WhatsApp is working on a new feature for Android that will allow channel managers to forward messages from other conversations on the messaging platform through these messages.

WhatsApp channels are a broadcast service, independent of private messages, designed to help users track information from people and other organizations and details Europe Press.

To differentiate them from the instant messaging service, the application places the channels on the News tabjust below the States panel, where some of these channels are listed and others can be searched by pressing the “Explore More” button.

Currently, when the creator or administrator of a channel wants to send content, they must do so directly from the channel; messages to which the public cannot respond, but you may only comment and share these posts.

The company is now working on a new feature with which it wants to improve communication on the platform for the administrators of these channels want to share certain content or messages with their followers or sent via other conversations.

Recently WABetaInfo has been able to verify this feature thanks to the latest beta update of WhatsApp for Android 2.23.26.2, available for download from the Google Play Store.

The owners of the channels therefore have has the ability to send qualifying messages from other conversationswhich may include text messages, images, videos, GIFs, audio messages, stickers, and updates from other channels.

Since this is a developing feature, it is not yet available globally for mobile users of the Google-developed operating system and at this time it is unknown whether it will reach iOS. (JO)
