A broken screen turned out to be the most annoying problem for smartphone owners
Smartphone users have listed the most unpleasant gadget breakdowns. This was reported by PhoneArena.
The journalists cited survey data from Allstate Protection Plans, which asked US residents to list the smartphone breakdowns they would most like to avoid. A broken screen came in first place, with 34 percent of respondents choosing this option.
The material states that 54 percent of Americans surveyed watch movies and TV shows on a smartphone, so their biggest fear is that the display will break. The second major nuisance was problems with Wi-Fi and the Internet; this option was chosen by 19 percent of respondents.
In 13 percent of responses, users noted problems with the touch display, in 11 percent – chips on the corners and sides of the phone, as well as a damaged charging port.
PhoneArena journalists noticed that the option of a smartphone breaking due to contact with water was only in sixth place – it was mentioned in 10 percent of the answers. According to the authors, this may be due to the fact that most modern smartphones are protected from moisture.
Earlier it became known that an absolute record for smartphone sales was set in Russia – more than 27 million devices have been sold since the beginning of the year. For comparison, over 11 months of last year, 22 million devices were sold.
