Samsung smartphones were left without sound

Samsung smartphone users have complained of audio-related problems. This is reported by the SamMobile edition.

Journalists refer to the messages of the owners of the flagship Samsung devices, who drew attention to the decrease in the sound quality in their devices. It turned out that when you launch games on Galaxy smartphones, the phone stops correctly reproducing low and medium sound frequencies. The problem was clearly demonstrated by a blogger under the nickname ManzaEN, who dedicated this video on his YouTube channel.

According to experts, you can return the original sound quality if you start recording a screen in parallel with the game. However, in this case, the smartphone will consume processor resources and consume the device’s memory, as well as disable the function of displaying images with a frequency of 120 hertz. The authors said that many users of Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy A52 5G and other devices of the brand were left without sound.

Also, journalists noticed that users began to complain about problems back in November. The owners of the phones associate the problems with the release of the new firmware version One UI 4. Samsung has not yet responded to the problems with the sound.

At the end of November, Check Point Research specialists spoke about the risk of hacking a number of Samsung smartphones. Experts have found a vulnerability in MediaTek chips, due to which an attacker can inject malicious code into the processor and steal user data.
