Information appeared on social media that this may be the result of the HAARP project. This is an actual military research program conducted by the US Air Force, US Navy and the research agency DARPA.

HAARP has been the subject of conspiracy theories for years, according to which the US military is allegedly involved in control as part of this project. In fact, the program studies the ionosphere. HAARP cannot actually influence the weather because it is shaped primarily in the troposphere, at an altitude of 10 kilometers. The military, however, deals with the ionosphere, which extends from 60 to 500 km above the Earth’s surface.

The actual reason for the occurrence of auroras over Poland is solar activity. However, the HAARP project is able to cause artificial aurora borealis because they are created in the ionosphere. “Research conducted by HAARP on November 4-7, 2023 led to the creation of an artificial aurora, but only in Alaska, where the HAARP research center is located. On the university’s website you can read that ‘scientists will study the mechanisms of the ionosphere that cause optical emissions. They will also try understand whether certain plasma waves – so hot that electrons are knocked out of atoms – amplify other very low-frequency waves.
