Today we put on the uniform at Doctor Tecno gamer and we tried one Laptop from Asus that aims to avoid using a desktop computer and take the fun with you wherever you go.

The new Laptop Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) Strix G18 is an attractive option for professional gamers and gaming fans, with powerful performance and immersive display.

At first glance we can see how small it is. It’s quite heavy, but its 3kg weight is justified by the number of special features it has. Is a Laptop from 2023 with 18-inch screen and state-of-the-art cooling.

It is equipped with a 13th generation Intel Core i9 24-core processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU for exceptional gaming and video editing performance.

It offers impressive specs, including 32GB of 4,800MHz DDR5 RAM and an 18-inch display with a high 240Hz refresh rate. Laptop ideal for competitive games.

It has a 3ms response time and at least 500 nits of brightness for an immersive experience and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600, ideal for creating visual content.

The screen is matte, has high color accuracy and good brightness, but has some slight bleeding issues at the edges. It features customizable RGB lighting and different performance modes via the software Armory crate. It offers solid gaming performance, with a significant increase in FPS compared to previous models, thanks to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card.

It comes with 1x 1TB M.2 SSD and multiple ports including LAN, Thunderbolt, DisplayPort and USB Type-C.

The keyboard has a quirky layout that may take some getting used to, with a few customizable keys and a compact number pad.

The speakers provide a clear and loud sound, but are not ideal for voice use.

The cooling system is efficient and the overall performance is solid for video editing and graphic design tasks.

Battery life is affected by charging type, with the Asus adapter providing the best gaming experience.

Overall, the Asus ROG Strix G18 2023 is a solid choice for visual content creators and gamers looking for a powerful laptop with a large screen. It is not too portable, that is, I do not recommend anyone to carry it on the back for a long time. Even the charger is quite heavy compared to the laptops most popular on the market.
