A cow jumps the fence of a field and kills a 15-year-old teenager by falling onto the roof of a vehicle

In circumstances under investigation and in the middle of a traffic accident, a 15-year-old teenager was killed. The incident involved a cow.

It happened in an Andean region of Venezuela. Media from that country agree on last weekend’s headline: “A cow crushed a vehicle and left a teenager dead in Trujillo.”

The deceased was identified as Ismael Gudiño, a student in the fifth year of secondary school (middle school, high school), El Público TV reported.

What was the cow accident like?

The tragic event occurred when the cow jumped over a fence on a piece of land and landed on the roof of the vehicle in which Gudiño was riding with some friends.

On Sunday, November 5, 2023, Ismael Gudiño was driving with his family along kilometer 17 of the municipality of La Ceiba in a white Ford Ka, when a cow jumped over the wire – of a farm – and fell on the vehicle.

The young man was injured and taken to hospital but died, digital media Trujillo Zona Roja reported.

The tragedy is widely discussed on social networks in Venezuela. Alejandra García reacted to the news: “I am a relative of the owner of the cow, he is in prison and (the teenager) was not with the family, he was with a group of friends (…) they imprisoned my relative because as the owner of the cow… it was just an accident.”

Other users try to explain how the heavy animal jumped onto the roof of the Ford Ka and fell. They remember that the Andean roads are between hills/mountains and think about the altitude of the farm where the cow came from. He fell into the void, they react to each other.

“The cow fell from above due to the impact of the vehicle. If it was a collision, the impact was frontal and that is not the case. It is an impact from the air, more analysis of the photo please,” asks Andrés Rivas Blanca.

While Edicsi Barrios said: “The question is why did the cow come out? Was it well protected? My husband also almost died because of those cows on the road, they are a danger and the owners must take care of the place where they keep their cows, because if they are not, no matter how innocent they are, unfortunately the owner will have to pay .” (JO)
