Last weekend, we not only changed our clocks to winter time, but also struggled with technical interruptions in several banks operating in Poland. It turns out that the banks have planned further work for this weekend.
PKO Bank Polski announces several technical breaks
About three planned technical breaks of PKO Bank Polski. The first two are scheduled for the night from Saturday to Sunday. From midnight to 3:00 a.m. the IKO and iPKO biznes mobile applications will not work. It will also not be possible to make contactless payments with cards and Blik (with the exception of using Apple Pay), the bank writes.
In turn, from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, the “Cards” tab on the iPKO website and in the IKO application will be unavailable. On the night from Sunday to Monday, between 00:45 and 01:45, difficulties may occur when paying by cards in stores and when withdrawing from ATMs. At the same time, PKO BP ATMs, contactless payments by phone and two functions on the iPKO website and IKO mobile application will not work – assigning a PIN and the ability to block or activate a payment card.
Technical interruptions at Pekao, Santander Bank Polska and Bank Pocztowy
However, PKO BP is not the only bank that has planned breaks for the coming weekend. , some services may also not work in three other banks – Pekao, Santander Bank Polska and Bank Pocztowy.
The technical break at Santander Bank Polska will be the first to start, on Friday. From 23:00 on November 3, until 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, online banking, instant transfers, payments in online stores and BLIK payments will not work. At 0:30 – 6:00 ATMs will not work either.
Bank Pocztowy warns that at night from Saturday to Sunday (from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.) there may be short-term problems with card and contactless payments by phone. Pekao on Sunday from: 0:15 – 6:15 will cut off customers’ access to PeoPay, PeoPay Kids and the Pekao24 website.
