Apple CEO Tim Cook said the iPhone 15 is selling better than the iPhone 14
Apple CEO Tim Cook said the iPhone 15 was a sales success. CNBC TV channel reports this.
In a conversation with reporters, Cook commented on the financial report for the third quarter of 2023. “If you look at iPhone 15 sales over this period of time and compare them to the iPhone 14 during the same period last year, you will see that the new devices performed better,” the Apple CEO said.
Tim Cook also emphasized that the premium iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max were in short supply for some time due to high demand. However, sales of Mac computers and iPads declined during the period.
At the end of the third quarter, Apple’s revenue fell 1 percent year-on-year to $89.5 billion. iPhone sales brought in $43.8 billion, up 2 percent year over year. Revenue from digital services also increased, from $19.2 billion to $22.3 billion.
Earlier, insider Ming-Chi Ko said that Apple would move production of the iPhone 17 and 17 Plus to India from China. In this way, the corporation will reduce its dependence on China.
