He is also accused of tax evasion, forgery and money laundering. Galip had already fled Turkey in 2018 after an appeals court upheld his life sentence in connection with a 1996 murder. His legal team has said they will appeal and the businessman has denied the crimes.
Kristina opened up on her Instagram about the tough times she’s been through without her husband. “Many of you have noticed that events in our family have made it more difficult for me to maintain the page,” he said in a message. “I’m sure that day will come soon, but in the meantime, I want to thank you for all your support and kind words,” she added.
The costs of caring for children
In 2021, Kristina revealed that she had spent $96,000 annually on 16 nannies. At that point, she and Galip had paid $170,000 to surrogate mothers between March 2020 and July 2021.
Speaking to the publication Fabulous, the young mother said: “I’m with the children all the time and doing all the things that mothers normally do.” ‘I can tell you one thing: my days are never boring. Every day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family,” Kristina told the publication of her routine.
Kristina, who also revealed she spent almost $5,000 a week on baby supplies including 20 large bags of diapers and 53 packs of baby food, shares updates about her hectic life on her Instagram account, where she has 231,000 followers.
A similar case in Great Britain
Britain’s ‘largest family’, the Radfords, have 22 children and appear to be neck and neck with the Ozturk family from Georgia, who have the same number of children, 21 of whom will soon be welcomed as surrogate mothers. (JO)
