How a sexual predator acts

Generally, men pose as girls or young men to gain the trust of minors. Then they ask for photos or videos with intimate content. That is care.

Grooming – in the words of the Buenos Aires Public Prosecutor’s Office – consists of the intentional harassment of a child or adolescent for sexual purposes through the use of electronic communications, telecommunications or any other data transmission technology.

A crime occurs “when telematic contact with a minor can, by its nature, violate the sexual integrity of the latter. It may be related to the crime of corruption of minors, sexual abuse of children in derivative digital representations, sexual abuse in general and even human trafficking.”
