The cost of the most expensive Apple laptop available on the American company’s website exceeded $7,000. This was reported by a Lenta.ru correspondent.
After the presentation of the M3 processors, Apple updated its online store to include 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops with support for the M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max processors. According to the site configurator, the most expensive MacBook Pro can be purchased for $7,200, or about 670 thousand rubles.
This model has a 16-inch display, an M3 Max processor with 16 cores and a graphics accelerator with 40 cores, 128 gigabytes of RAM and 8 terabytes of internal memory on an SSD. Apple also offers to purchase Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro programs – in this case, the cost of the said laptop will increase to $7,700.
At the same time, the MacBook Pro laptop is not the most expensive computer in the Apple line. It turned out to be a Mac Pro with an M2 Ultra chip, 192 gigabytes of RAM and an 8 terabyte drive. The desktop computer was valued at $12,448.
Bloomberg sources previously reported that Apple will introduce support for generative artificial intelligence (AI) in all its devices. The corporation will also spend about a billion dollars a year on AI.
