The first devices based on Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will hit the market in early 2025. It is not known exactly how expensive this processor will be, but any price increase may well be passed on to consumers. The cost of chips for smartphone manufacturers is a trade secret.

According to analysts, most likely, smartphones of the Samsung Galaxy S25, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, OnePlus 13, Xiaomi 15 and other devices will become more expensive. Devices from the Google Pixel line should not become more expensive, since the American company uses a processor of its own design.
