There is also a link attached to the SMS. This is not a new scam, and the validity of trusted profiles actually needs to be extended.

Details about the case were published on Wednesday by the Ministry of Digitization on its website. As the ministry explains, the incoming text messages are a campaign of the Minister of Digital Affairs, addressed to people whose trusted profiles will be invalidated at the end of October. By default, trusted profiles are valid for three years. After this time, any citizen who still wants to use the account must extend it themselves.
The exception to this rule was during the pandemic, when the validity of trusted profiles was automatically extended. After the state of epidemic threat is lifted, trusted profiles are no longer extended. Therefore, you must extend the validity of the account yourself, after logging in in the “How to create/extend” tab. The last day when we still have a chance to do so is October 31 this year.
If, after logging in to your trusted profile, in the Creation/extension method field you see the information “Trusted profile automatically extended for the duration of the pandemic”, your profile will be invalidated on October 31, 2023, even if you see a different profile expiration date

Finally, we receive an SMS and e-mail with authorization codes that must be entered in specific fields. Importantly, people who log in to a trusted profile via electronic banking will have to change the identity provider to the bank themselves after extending the account, because the link between the profile and the bank account will disappear in the earlier step.
