In September, Apple caused considerable consternation in Poland. It turned out that the latest iPhone 15 not only did not become more expensive, but also turned out to be cheaper than last year’s models.
This was mainly due to the much better dollar exchange rate. On September 7, 2022, i.e. on the day of the premiere of the iPhone 14, we paid PLN 4.71 for one dollar, and at the time of the premiere of the iPhone 15 it was “only” PLN 4.33 (currently the dollar is even cheaper and its exchange rate on Wednesday it was PLN 4.2). Some Polish customers were counting on the fact that after reducing the prices of iPhones, the Cupertino company would decide to adjust the price list of its other products – including iPads, whose prices have not spoiled us recently. And so it happened.

iPhone 15 disappoints in China? Drop in sales
Counterpoint Research published a report on Tuesday,
China’s headline figures for the 15 series are in the red, reflecting a broader decline in consumer spending
– emphasizes Mengmeng Zhang, Counterpoint analyst. “But the shorter pre-Christmas shopping period combined with the Pro Max supply mismatch (consumers avoid the color blue) may shift some of the demand to the fourth calendar quarter,” the expert adds.
