ZDNet: Users continued to complain about overheating of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max
Users of Apple’s flagship smartphones continued to complain about increased heating of their devices even after the release of a corrective update. This was reported by ZDNet.
Media journalists referred to their readers who use Phone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. Previously, the models were suspected of increased heating, and Apple released an update to iOS 17.0.3, which was supposed to fix the problem. However, users noticed that smartphones continued to overheat.
According to one of the owners of the smartphone, the device began to heat up even during normal use. Thus, the temperature of the rear panel of the device increases when making a call lasting more than a minute and taking 4-5 photos at once. The author noted that the update did not solve the problem.
One reader said that he had not previously experienced problems with overheating of the iPhone 15 Pro. However, the phone started overheating after he installed iOS 17.0.3. Thus, the temperature of the device began to tend to 40 degrees even during normal use.
Earlier, Apple responded to complaints from users of new smartphones related to screen burn-in. According to representatives of the corporation, the problem may be due to a defect – in this case, Apple undertakes to replace the devices under warranty.
