reports that the VOX FM (95.5 FM) radio station in Kielce periodically broadcasts a recording insulting Barbara Iwan, a candidate for the Sejm from the Świętokrzyskie list of the Civic Coalition. Someone is probably disrupting the radio broadcasts by broadcasting their own offensive content.
Someone is disturbing the operation of the VOX FM station. A radio pirate broadcasts offensive messages
The incidents allegedly occurred several times, which the injured party herself found out about on September 29. Breaks in the radio station’s signal emission have different lengths (the example lasted 7 minutes), and during this time looped recordings generated by a computer speech synthesizer are played. Their goal is to insult the KO candidate, and the recordings are full of shocking and offensive content.
Disturbances of the VOX FM broadcast appear unexpectedly and in various places in Kielce, including: on the street Grunwaldzka and Jagiellońska – informs wKielcach.info and adds that the case has already been reported to the police and the prosecutor’s office. Even distributing a radio program without a license is a violation of the law.
As explained by the industry expert, the perpetrator is probably well aware that the source of the radio signal can be easily traced. This is why it constantly changes the place where the signal is transmitted. The website also believes that the perpetrator uses a low-power transmitter, and the attack itself “is in no way sophisticated, hacky or spectacular,” the website writes. It can be performed even by a person without training or experience in this matter.
Radio VOX FM, in a comment for wKielcach.info, stated that it was not responsible for “the broadcast of materials regarding Mrs. Barbara Iwan, and the content was broadcast illegally.” The station notified both the police and the Office of Electronic Communications about the radio signal disruptions.
