Samsung announced the Exynos 2400 chip, which will appear in the Galaxy S24 smartphone
The South Korean corporation Samsung has announced a new generation processor Exynos 2400. SamMobile reports this.
The new processor is focused on supporting work with artificial intelligence (AI). According to representatives of the corporation, it is 70 percent more productive than the previous generation model Exynos 2200. Also, processing AI requests is 14.7 times faster.
The chip is equipped with an Xclipse 940 graphics processor based on AMD RDNA3 architecture – the company noted that it has improved performance and supports ray tracing. In particular, in games, the chip allows for more accurate reflections and shadow rendering. According to the publication’s journalists, the presented processor should appear in the next flagship smartphones – the Galaxy S24 series.
In addition, Samsung announced Zoom Anyplace technology for its 200-megapixel cameras. The material says that it will allow users to shoot close-up moving objects with four times magnification without any degradation in image quality.
At the end of September, Samsung representatives described the importance of high-resolution telephoto lenses in smartphones. The corporation’s engineers named the ISOCELL HP2 and HP3 telephoto lenses, which have a resolution of 200 megapixels, as the best.
