The report analyzed news articles and materials related to Apple devices. It turned out that a month before the launch of the iPhone 15 and a week after, 150 thousand articles appeared on the Internet talking about the USB-C connector. According to researchers, this is a record figure.
For comparison, the main feature of the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max was called the Dynamic Island cutout. However, only 7.2 thousand articles were devoted to this element of the front panel in particular and Apple smartphones in general.
According to SamMobile journalists, these statistics clearly show how important the introduction of USB-C in the iPhone turned out to be, although the authors do not consider it an innovation. “We’re just glad that Apple finally saw the sense in this (or rather, the European Union made it see the sense),” the authors emphasized.
