On Monday evening, residents of Oxford, UK, were surprised to see a glowing light in the middle of the darkness.
According to witness statements to various media, there was a huge fireball that resembled pulsating air.
Hours later it was confirmed to be an explosion at Severn Trent Green power station in Cassington, north of the city.

The Met Office had issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and heavy rain in Oxfordshire. The company said lightning caused a biogas tank to explode and no injuries were reported.
No one appears to have been injured, but emergency services are on the scene.
As a result, the A40 between Wolvercote and Eynsham is closed.
To ensure public safety, residents are asked to stay at home, close windows and doors and not be on site.

There was a power outage for several minutes, affecting Witney, Burford, Chipping Norton and Milton-under-Wychwood, the BBC said.
