MTS expert Golitsyna: the connection may not work on an iPhone 15 purchased on the Internet
Natalya Golitsyna, head of the telephony department of the MTS retail network, said that iPhone 15 purchased on the Internet may not have mobile communications in Russia. Her commentary is published by RIA Novosti.
The expert warned that “gray” imports are common on the Internet, and therefore the new iPhone model, as well as other types of smartphones, may not support the Russian communication range. According to the specialist, as a result of this, Russian users may experience interruptions in the operation of their gadgets or be completely left without communication.
At the same time, Golitsyna clarified that official sales of the iPhone 15 are already open at domestic retailers. In addition, she emphasized that devices sold on marketplaces and message boards do not provide any guarantees of quality.
Earlier in September, MTS announced the start of sales of iPhone 15 and 15 Pro. It was reported that customers can receive online orders via delivery. In the MTS retail network, the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models are initially available in Moscow and St. Petersburg. In the near future, the company plans to bring smartphones to other regions of Russia.
