Huawei introduced a new brand of premium smartphones, Ultimate Design
The Chinese corporation Huawei has launched a new brand of expensive smartphones. This was reported by GizmoChina.
At an event in China, company executives said that the Ultimate Design brand will unite the most advanced and luxurious smartphones and accessories for them. “Ultimate Design embodies the pinnacle of aesthetics, craftsmanship and innovation,” the corporation noted.
The first gadget of the new line of smartphones was Huawei Mate 60 RS Ultimate Design. The presented device received a 6.82-inch OLED display, 16 gigabytes of RAM and 1 terabyte of internal memory, a triple camera with lenses with a resolution of 48, 48 and 40 megapixels, inscribed in an octagon.
The publication’s journalists noted that Huawei previously produced premium smartphones under the Porsche Design brand. One of the reasons for the abandonment of the previous brand and the launch of a new one, experts named the reluctance of the Chinese IT giant to pay license fees to the German Porsche corporation. The material says that Huawei rationally solved the problem by cutting costs and creating a separate brand.
At the end of September, the head of the Chinese company Honor, Zhao Ming, commented on rumors of a reunion with Huawei. According to the entrepreneur, the merger of the two companies is “absolutely impossible.”
