Ceballos added that investigations and “search processes” continue to arrest anyone linked to this group, “even at the international level, if some members escape or flee.”
In Peru, the head of the PNP emphasized that the decision to declare a state of emergency in the Lima districts of San Juan de Lurigancho and San Martín de Porres, as well as in northern Sullana, is “a response to the political will” of the government. to tackle common crime and organized crime.
“We see that this is producing the first results, we still have two months ahead of us. The main objective is to reduce crime in these jurisdictions,” he added.
